We will move to the heart of the historic center with a visit to Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna, and the palaces of Italian political power. After a short stop, visit Piazza Della Rotonda, where you can see the Pantheon, built by Emperor Hadrian in the second century A.D. The Vatican Museums are one of the symbols of Rome, where various works have been collected that span from ancient to contemporary times. Sarcophagi and mosaics share the space with masterpieces by great masters such as Giotto, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael up to Dalì, Canova, and Matisse. Amid so much beauty, the presence of a fragment of lunar rock donated to Vatican citizens by former U.S. president Nixon continues to amaze.
