    Welcome to Guatemala!

    Arrive in Guatemala City and private transfer to Antigua, Guatemala, one of the most beautiful colonial cities in the Americas. It's full of well-preserved Spanish architecture, and it is home to stunning ruins of colonial convents and churches. Three volcanoes - Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango - form a dramatic backdrop to the city.

    You start experiencing Antigua City with a private guided tour of Antigua's famous cathedral, along with the city's most beautiful churches and ruins.     Antigua Guatemala - Coffee Farm Tour & Hiking Volcano Pacaya

    Today, depart to the hotel for Coffee Tour. On this tour, you will hike through coffee fields, harvest beans, and learn to process and roast the coffee with traditional tools. First, you will step into the shoes of a Guatemalan coffee farmer. End the experience by making your own fresh cup of coffee.

    Hike the active Volcano Pacaya. This hike is accessible for people of any hiking ability. Volcano Pacaya is the most active volcano in Guatemala. It stands 2,500 meters above sea level.  From Pacay, you can take in the magnificent views of the Calderas Lagoon and view three other volcanoes: Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango. You will also be able to walk safely over volcanic rock formed from lava flows.

    Lake Atitlan - Tour to the Mayan site of Iximché

    Tour to the Mayan site of Iximche. Upon entering Iximché, several ceremonial plazas with buildings that reach ten meters high can be seen. Surrounding the place with a forest shape and a carpet of grass-colored color, and varied vegetation where the air is relatively pure, you will quickly notice the abundance of green. You can see the four squares of the four leading families with their ball games. It is a peaceful place where nature merges with culture and ritual. The ceremonial center that is at the end is the icing on the cake because one can learn from the Kakchiquel culture and feel the last site of the descendants of the Mayas in the postclassic period. 

    Along the way to Lake Atitlan, stop at the Atitlan Nature Reserve to experience the largest zipline canopy tour in Central America, as well as views of waterfalls and unparalleled hiking.  The tour starts with a hike to a high point in the mountains. There you will find the top of the canopy and the beginning of the zip line cables. You'll get a bird's eye view of the forest on this unique adventure. Look for monkeys, coatis, and many other species, as well as learn about the natural surroundings.  If soaring through the heights is not for you, a variety of hikes and other activities are available at Lake Atitlan Nature Reserve. After your morning adventures, a vehicle and a boat transfer through Panajachel will bring you to your hotel in a town around Lake Atitlan.

    Lake Atitlan - Boat tour to explore beautiful lake

    On this day, you will go on a boat tour to explore beautiful Lake Atitlan and the indigenous towns on its shores. These are great places to see the beauty and variety of Mayan culture and traditional textiles.  Every city has a distinct Mayan dress with patterns and colors representing their particular history and traditions.

    Santiago Atitlán is a very colorful town with many natural activities to do. On the same street of the dock, there are sales of spectacular paintings made by local artisans. Their craft walk is known for its beautiful variety.

    In San Juan La Laguna, make a stop to visit a coffee farm in San Juan.  Learn about coffee production in Guatemala and sample some of the best coffee in the country! Santa Catarina is one of the most impressive and colorful destinations on the shores of Lake Atitlan, known for its picturesque streets, crafts, and panoramic landscapes. It is known as the “colors village.”

    Flores Island - Discover the most colorful market in Central America

    Today we start the tour to the Market of Chichicastenango, where you will discover the most colorful market in Central America. It takes place on Thursdays and Sundays only. The handicrafts produced in Guatemala have a great variety of colors and patterns that represent the country's multicultural characteristics. Here you will have the chance to buy many different designs and souvenirs directly from the producers.

    After your market trip, private transportation will take you to Guatemala City airport to enjoy a domestic flight to Flores Island. You will now reach one of Guatemala's most iconic and beautiful sites, full of Mayan cultural richness. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

    Flores Island - Mayan City of Tikal and Sunset boat ride Lake Peten Itza

    Today, a private car will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and transfer you to Tikal National Park. The massive ruins of Tikal are a carefully restored area of 222 square miles.  The tour guide will walk you through the jungle to the site of the highest temple, where you can ascend to witness spectacular views of the Mayan ruins.

    The sounds are as impressive as the view - you’ll hear a cacophony of monkeys, birds, and other insects sounding the jungle’s alarm clock - a truly magical experience!  During this day you can go on the Sunset Boat Tour of the lake and the island. You will enjoy the Lake Peten Itzá sunset by boat.

    San Ignacio - Mayan City of Yaxh 

    Today you will visit the Mayan City of Yaxha. This is the third largest known Mayan City located in the lowlands. It is located to the north of Yaxha Lagoon and contains 500 structures. You will continue to explore on your way to San Ignacio, Belize.

    Caye Caulker Island, Belize City - Canoeing tour to Barton Creek Cave

    Today you will have a Canoeing tour to Barton Creek Cave. In Barton Creek, a river flows through the cave; canoes are the only way to see this Mayan underworld. As with all the caves in Belize, there are some Mayan remains. The scenic location, geological formations, and canoes make this tour unique.

    Transfer to Belize City  - Water taxi to Caye Caulker Island. Later, you will travel to Belize City in the afternoon. A water taxi will take you to your hotel for a relaxing afternoon, followed by time to explore the island of Caye Caulker.

    Caye Caulker Island - Sailing & Snorkeling tour

    The waters are ready for you to sail and snorkel. Our original full-day sailing/snorkeling adventure to the famous Hot Chan Marine Reserve is unrivaled in quality on the island. The tour begins at 10:30 am. and returns home between 4:30 pm. - 5:00 pm. and includes three snorkeling stops. Two within the actual reserve itself, "the Hol Chan Channel and the Star and Ray Alley," our third Coral Gardens, and another two further sightseeing stops are the Tarpon view and watching for manatees.

    There will be three stops to enjoy today: the Hol Chan Channel, Shark and Ray Alley, and the Coral Gardens. These will provide the marvelous opportunity to view the fish, coral, and plants that color the ocean floor. Over 350 species of fish can be found here.
