- DAY 1
Welcome to Guatemala City!
The Guatemala, El Salvador & Nicaragua tour starts with Guatemala.
Arrive in the city and private transfer to Lake Atitlan. You will set your first day on the beautiful Lake Atitlan. Aldous Huxley, a famous novelist, considers it one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Three volcanoes provide magnificent scenery for your time at the lake. Villages surrounding the lake are alive with Mayan culture. Women and some men can be seen wearing colorful traditional outfits. You will be transferred to Jaibalito by boat to stay in a clean, peaceful town. You will enjoy the quietness it offers. It is only accessible by boat.

Lake Atitlan - Indigenous Towns
Today you will be able to visit a few different indigenous towns around Lake Atitlan. Your boat tour will take you to beautiful places to learn about Mayan culture. In the village of San Juan, you will learn about the process of Guatemalan coffee from bean to cup, as well as sample some of the best coffees.

A relaxing day in San Marcos La Laguna
A relaxing day awaits you on the lake. There are many activities to do around the lake or relax on a beach. San Marcos La Laguna is perfect for relaxing, enjoying a massage, or visiting a natural sauna. Some optional activities at the lake: Yoga, Stand-up paddle boarding, Kayaking, Hike to the Nose of the Mayan, Saunas & massages.

Antigua - City Sightseeing
In the morning, private transfer to Antigua, Guatemala to Antigua City Tour.
Antigua’s cobblestone streets, colonial buildings, ruins, and central plaza call you to visit. The beautiful architecture draws tourists in, and Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango are three majestic volcanoes that provide a backdrop to this city. You will enjoy a guided tour of this city’s best.
- DAY 5
Antigua - Tour of the Indigenous Towns and a Cooking Class
Santa Catarina Barahona, Ciudad Vieja and Santa María de Jesús are three towns near Antigua that you will get to visit. The local markets will be the focused experience of these towns. This area will conclude with a cooking class provided by a Guatemalan family. Enjoy a local dish that will be simple for you to make.
- DAY 6
Flores Island - Visit Mayan City of Tikal
Your Guatemalan adventures continue with a flight from Guatemala City to beautiful Flores Island. Then, you will be taken by private transportation to the Mayan City of Tikal. A guided tour will lead you on a path through the jungle to view the enormous and ancient Mayan ruins. The natural beauty, birds, and monkeys will surround you as you view the tips of the Mayan temples.
- DAY 7
Flores Island - Boat tour to the Mayan site of Tayazal
Today, you will enjoy a boat tour to visit Tayazal, another Mayan site. From the top of the pyramids, you will have magnificent views of Flores Island and Lake Peten Itza. There is an animal conservation park located here for animal lovers to visit. An afternoon boat ride will provide a beautiful view of the sunset.
- DAY 8
Fly to El Salvador
You will leave Guatemala today and fly to El Salvador. Private transportation will be waiting to transfer you from the airport to your Hotel El Salvador in San Salvador.
- DAY 9
El Salvador - Kayak & Bird-watching Tour on Lake Suchitlan
Today you have a Kayak & Bird-watching Tour on Lake Suchitlan. During this kayak tour, you will have an up-close view of this beautiful lake and its wildlife. Lake Suchitlán is a bird migration zone with over 100 species, including roseate spoonbills, whistling ducks, osprey, herons, egrets, pelicans, crested caracara, and swallows, kingfishers, sandpipers, terns … and more! You’ll have enough time to dip in a local hot spring before heading back to Suchitoto.
Afternoon, you have a city tour of Suchitoto, which brings beautiful views of Lake Suchitlan, as well as well-known cobblestone roads. You will embark on a city tour to share the local history and culture with you, as you will have a view of the Guazapa Volcano.
- DAY 10
Leon - Fly to Managua, Nicaragua
You will be transferred to the international airport to take a flight to Managua, Nicaragua. Then, your assistant will drive you to your hotel in León, the second-largest city in Nicaragua. It is home to many historic Spanish colonial houses and churches.

- DAY 11
Ometepe Island - City tour of Leon
Transfer to Ometepe Island
You will view some of the best places that León has to offer through a guided tour. You will visit the cathedral, view murals of the revolution, and visit Museum Ruben Dario and Gallery Ortiz-Guardian. This gallery contains work from Picasso, Chagall, and other European artists and beautiful Latin American art. The day will end with a transfer to San Jorge and a ferry to Ometepe Island for overnight.

Granada - Visit the world's largest island in a freshwater lake
Today you will visit the world’s largest island, located within a freshwater lake. Two great volcanoes are located here, connected through a small strip of land. Tourists and locals enjoy the beauty of Ometepe’s volcanoes, archeology, and beaches.
The rustic facilities that have been built here are a fantastic view. Ojo de Agua Natural springs with crystalline waters that contain medicinal properties are found here. They can rejuvenate your skin.
Playa Santo Domingo is 2.5 miles (4 km) long gray-sand beach that provides warm and shallow waters for your enjoyment. The beach offers relaxation in the soft breeze.
In the end, explore Charco Verde is 20 hectares of the ecological reserve located in a tropical forest. It is definitely beautiful. There are many different species of animals that call this home. The lagoon is known for its emerald green waters. This is a perfect spot to enjoy your natural surroundings quietly.

Granada - Horse-drawn tour to colonial Granada
A horse-drawn carriage ride will take you on tour through colonial Granada. The friendly people, rich history, and unique colonial architecture will impress you. At the end of the tour, you will visit a fortress and a cemetery over 400 years old.

End of Journey
Flight departures from Managua, Nicaragua International Airport to fly back home.
