    Delhi stands as the capital of Modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the Old and New India, the ancient and the modern. Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to the 20th centuries. Delhi has seen the rise and fall of many emperors, which has left behind a plethora of monuments that commemorate the grandeur and glory of bygone ages. Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles.

    Satpura - Visit Bhimbetka Cave & Tawa Dam for a Boat Ride

    Wake up early morning today to board your flight to Bhopal.

    Upon arrival in Bhopal drive to Satpura, en-route stop at visit Bhimbetka cave & Tawa Dam for a boat ride.

    Bhimbetka Rock Shelters is an archaeological site in central India that spans the prehistoric paleolithic and Mesolithic periods. It exhibits the earliest traces of human life on the Indian subcontinent and evidence of the stone age. It is a UNESCO world heritage site that consists of seven hills and over 750 rock shelters. Some of the Bhimbetka rock shelters feature prehistoric cave paintings and the earliest are about 30,000 years old.

    Post-visit, continue to drive to Satpura, and check-in at your lodge.

    Satpura Tiger Reserve - Jeep Safari

    The Satpura Tiger Reserve is a relatively less-visited reserve where one can enjoy the pristine wilderness without the crowds. On jeep safaris guests can expect to see Sloth Bear, Leopard, Wild dogs, Giant Squirrel, Sambar, Gaur, Four-horned Antelope, Barking Deer, Nilgai, Crocodiles and if lucky the Tiger.

    After the safari, return to the lodge to refresh and catch up with some nice tea/coffee.

    Satpura - Hop on a Canoe and Paddle through The Waters of The Denwa River

    In an early morning, hop on a canoe and paddle your way through the waters of the Denwa river.

    Return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax until lunch and post-lunch drive into Satpura forest and commence hiking along a forest track (2 Hrs).

    Retire at an exclusive camp in Satpura forest.

    Pench National Park

    After breakfast check out and drive to Pench. On arrival check-in at the hotel.

    Pench National Park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the Satpuda hills is named after Pench river, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. Pench National Park, comprising of 292 sq miles, out of which a core area of 115 sq. miles of Indira Priyadarshini Pench National Park and the Mowgli Pench Sanctuary and remaining 180 sq. miles of Pench National park is the buffer area.

    The area of the present tiger reserve has a glorious history. A description of its natural wealth and richness occurs in Ain-i-Akbari. Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighborhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling’s most famous work, The Jungle Book.

    The undulating topography supports a mosaic of vegetation ranging from moist, sheltered valleys to open, dry deciduous forests. Over 1200 species of plants have been recorded from the area including several rare and endangered plants as well as plants of ethnobotanical importance.

    Jeep Safari at Pench National Park

    Morning and afternoon jeep safari at Pench National Park a wild playground harboring the maximum density of prey animals, chased by an estimated 65 Tigers. The park is well administered and renowned for its vivid fauna and flora which will make you feel like you are stepping into the pages of The Jungle Book by Sir Rudyard Kipling. The 292 sq. miles of scrublands, deciduous forest of Teaks, and many lakes, streams, and Pench River are home to Tigers, Leopards, Wild Dogs, Nilgai, Chinkara, Gaur and is excellent for birding.

    Kanha - Cycling Through Pench

    Today morning, enjoy cycling through Pench –Kanhacorridor and enjoy picnic breakfast before departing for Kanha.

    The lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows, and ravines of Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel “Jungle Book”. The Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh came into being in 1955 and forms the core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, created in 1974 under Project Tiger. The Park’s landmark achievement is the preservation of the rare hardground Swamp Deer (Barasingha), saving it from near extinction. Stringent conservation programs for the overall protection of the Park’s fauna and flora, make Kanha one of the most well-maintained National Parks in Asia.

    On arrival check-in at your lodge and later proceed to visit Sarekha village market. This is an ideal opportunity to engage with locals and experience a slice of their reality as they go about their daily chores and rituals

    Kanha - See The Majestic Royal Bengal Tigers

    Spread across 363 sq. miles, Kanha National Park is one of the largest parks in Madhya Pradesh where the majestic royal Bengal tigers are found in good numbers.

    The Park is respected globally for saving the Barasingha from near extinction. No doubt, it is one of the best-managed parks in Asia and a part of Project Tiger. National Geographic’s award-winning ‘Land of the Tigers’ was shot here, but the park is home to leopards, wild dogs, and Barasingha as well.

    A safari in Kanha will surely get you thrilled, the way you were on your first trip to the zoo, as a child.
