    Failte Ireland

On arrival at Dublin Airport, you are met by your driver guide, who will transfer to Westport County Mayo.

Our Ireland tour begins with visiting Irish National Stud in County Kildare, which is the beating heart of Ireland’s thoroughbred horse industry. It is the home of equine royalty, immaculately-bred stallions who can be seen and admired alongside protective mares, frolicking foals, and athletic yearlings. Proceed to The Japanese Gardens; these gardens were laid out by the celebrated gardener Eida in 1906. Through the use of trees, shrubs, rocks, and water, it tells the story of man’s progress through life.

Visit Connemara “Experience The Real Beauty of Ireland”

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Connemara. It’s located in the northwest corner of County Galway, where you can experience Connemara’s wild and desolate beauty – the ancient Gaelic Kingdom where it is still possible, in the present, to “touch” the Irish Past. They say you “experience the real beauty of Ireland when you visit Connemara.”

Later, visit Kylemore Abbey: the Benedictine Nuns of Ypres convent, beautifully set on Lake Kylemore. At this point, see the picturesque Abbey (reception rooms, video, and exhibition). Enjoy a stroll to the beautifully restored Gothic Church, browse in the craft shop, and sample our home-cooked food.

    Our recommended visit:
    Master Bodhran workshop.
Roundstone Music and Craft Shop lie within the walls of an old Franciscan Monastery in the quaint fishing village of Roundstone in the heart of Connemara. It is a fine Craftsman’s Craft, Music, fashion, and coffee shop. The shop is owned and managed by “Malachy Bodhran”- Ireland’s only full-time Bodhran maker. Malachy explains his craft amidst the smell of goatskin, glue, varnish, and perspiration. The story of the Bodhran, its name, and its playing style is the cleverest idea in the world of manual percussion. It is better, or Bone originated as the leg of a sheep or goat.! Malachy made the stage drums for ‘Riverdance’ here in Roundstone.

    Admire the Cliffs of Moher

After a full Irish breakfast at your hotel, travel to Dingle today via the Burren Region and Cliffs of Moher.

“The Burren is a limestone plateau occupying an area of over one hundred square miles in North Clare. It is an area of scenic attractions where the clear light, reflected from the stone-grey hills, seems to radiate an air of timelessness, which is made more realistic by the presence of the many prehistoric remains that dot the fields and the valleys beneath. Here the unfolding layers of limestone form a terrace on the slopes of the hills – a limestone desert but with a quick-changing landscape.”

Visit the Cliffs of Moher. The entirely vertical cliffs rise to a height of 214m, their edge abruptly falling away into a ceaselessly churning Atlantic. A progression of vast heads, the dark limestone marches in a rigid formation. Views stretch to the Aran Islands and the hills of Connemara. Sunsets here see the sky turn a kaleidoscope of amber, amethyst, rose-pink, and deep garnet-red. Continue to Dingle.
