Walk down to the shore of the Sea of Galilee to visit Tabgha and the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes, as well as the place of the miraculous catch of fish and Jesus’ appearance to the disciples after the Resurrection. Continue to Capernaum to visit the ruined town, including the Ancient Synagogue and House of St Peter, where Jesus taught and performed miracles. This walk is part of the Kinneret Trail, which rings most of the lake. Stop at the ancient pool known as Job’s Bath, its warm waters have long been associated with healing. Nearby is Job’s Waterfall, an impressive 4 meter-high cascade that flows into the Sea of Galilee. Continue around the Sea of Galilee to Kursi, the site of the Miracle of the Swine. The day ends at Yardenit, on the banks of the Jordan River, where pilgrims go to be baptized.
