Eternal City: Rome

Colosseum is one of the seven wonders of the world and Rome’s most popular ancient building. Voted by 90 million people in a survey launched by B. Weber in 2007, the Colosseum has become one of the New Wonders of the World. It was evaluated by a team of experts.  As we leave the borders of Rome, the next visit is to the Vatican Museums which originated as a group of sculptures collected by Pope Julius II (1503-1513) and placed in what today is the “Cortile Ottagono” within the museum complex.

The Capital of Tuscany: Florence

Next on your itinerary will be Florence. Set to explore all key sites with expert commentary, also orienting you with the city for your independent exploration later. Start the tour by admiring the breathtaking panorama of Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo. Visit the Academy of Fine Arts, home to Italian artist Michelangelo’s masterpiece  David. Then walk on to see the Duomo with its multi-colored marble and magnificent dome, the Baptistery with its renowned bronze “Gates of Paradise”, and Giotto’s bell tower. Stroll through the medieval streets of Florence to Piazza Signoria, a stunning square resembling an open-air museum.

The Most Romantic City: Venice

Considering one of the most romantic cities in Europe, Venice is a must-visit town. Explore St Mark’s Square with its celebrated Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, and visit the Doge’s Palace. Visit the Venice islands Murano, and Burano. You’ll then enjoy the typical Spritz Veneziano is one of the wine bars in the city center. Spritz is one of the most popular aperitifs in Italy.
