    Lima - Arequipa

    In the morning, meet your private English-speaking guide in the hotel. Today visit the historical center including the Cathedral and San Francisco Convent that the Church and Convent of San Francisco are beside the Cathedral of Lima probably the most significant religious complex in Lima and the most successful and impressive monument of Colonial architecture in whole Latin America. The place is a highly recommended tour through the monastery. It gives an impressive inside into how religious life was during Spanish colonial times. Our tour continues with the Larco Museum where can explore more than 5000 years of ancient Peruvian history and the intimate bond that existed between pre-Columbian societies and the natural world.

    In the afternoon, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Arequipa. At the arrival, meet with our personnel and transfer to the hotel.

    In the morning, a city tour including the Santa Catalina Convent with a private English-speaking guide. The Convent of Santa Catalina de Siena was built in 1579 and is located in the historical center of Arequipa. It served as a cloister for Dominican nuns from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries and still houses a small religious community today. The afternoon is at leisure. In the evening, dinner at ZigZag Restaurant.

    Sillustani, Peru

    Arequipa - Juliaca - Puno

    Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Juliaca. At the arrival transfer to Puno. On the way, visit the Sillustani necropolis which is the ruined Incan mausoleum towers that still bear carvings of sacred animals on their blocks. Created by the pre-Incan Culla civilization that thrived in the area surrounding the lake until around the 1500s, when the Inca destabilized their hold on the area, the ruins at Sillustani are most strikingly comprised of circular towers. These spires, known as “chullpas” were built out of large stacked blocks. Each tower was built to hold an extended family within its rounded walls.

The name Titicaca comes from the two Quechua words “Titi” which means Puma and “Caca” which means Mount.

    Puno - Sacred Valley

    Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. At the arrival, transfer to the Sacred Valley, visit along the way Awanacancha to meet native weavers and see South American camelid species. Awanacancha, or "The Palace of Tejidos" in Spanish, is a town dedicated exclusively to textile art. Located 45 minutes far from Cusco in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, it is the ideal tourist attraction to observe the process of the handmade products of the zone.     Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cusco

    Transfer to Ollantaytambo's station to take the Vistadome train almost 1.30 hours to Machu Picchu town. Machu Picchu is a World Heritage Site. It stays at the top of a mountain, enormous and imposing stone blocks joined without using mortar were combined to create one of the most important religious, political, and cultural centers of the Inca empire. Revealed to the world in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, this Inca city is divided into two large sectors: the agricultural sector, with an extensive network of terraces; and the urban sector, with fine structures including the Sun Temple.

    At the arrival, transfer by public bus to the archaeological complex to visit Machu Picchu, lunch included at the Sanctuary Lodge. In the afternoon, transfer to the station to take the Vistadome train to Poroy.
