Discover The Torres del Paine National Park
We will start our tour to the Torres del Paine National Park, bordering the Sienna of Ultima Esperanza and later crossing extensive pampas of Magellanic steppe until we reach the town of Cerro Castillo, where we can enjoy a coffee and buy typical handicrafts of the region.
Then from Mirador Lago Sarmiento, we will have a beautiful postcard of the Paine Massif, adorned by the presence of guanacos, ñandúes, and condors that inhabit the sector. Another interesting point is the Laguna Amarga sector, from where you have one of the best views of the imposing granite waters "Las Torres del Paine", which on clear days can be reflected in the lagoon, obtaining a spectacular landscape.
We will enter Torres del Paine National Park, the World Biosphere Reserve, to enjoy one of the most attractive places on the planet. We will stop at the Nordenskjold Lake Viewpoint, from there we will have a beautiful view of the different peaks of the Cordillera Paine, highlighting the famous "Cuernos del Paine" and the highest mountain in the Park; The "Paine Grande" with 3,050 meters height.
Then we will move to the sector of Salto Grande, where we will make a short hike to reach this great waterfall that empties into Lake Pehoé. We will stop for lunch inside the park. Later we will go to the Gray Lake sector where we will make a walk crossing the hanging bridge over the "Pingo River", we will cross a Forest of Lehengas and we will arrive at the beach from where we will have a spectacular view of the floating floes of Glacier Gray. On our way back we stop at the Milodón Cave Natural Monument; Set of caves where the remains of an herbivorous mammal of great dimensions that was extinguished at the end of the Pleistocene, were found.
We will take a walk inside the main cave, which is about 200 meters deep, 80 meters wide, and 30 meters high, and at the end, we can take a self-picture next to the replica of this extinct animal "El Milodón". Return to our hotel in Puerto Natales.
