Rome - Tour of the historical center & Vatican Museums

Breakfast at the hotel and meeting with the guide. Start the walking tour of the historical center of Rome (transfer by foot or public transportation)

We will move to the heart of the historic center with a visit to Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna, and the palaces of Italian political power. After a short stop, visit Piazza Della Rotonda, where you can see the Pantheon, built by Emperor Hadrian in the second century A.D. The walking tour ends in one of the most beautiful characteristic squares of Renaissance Rome: Piazza Navona with the magnificent Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini.

After lunch, depart for a guided tour of the Vatican Museums with a professional guide of the Museums.

The Vatican Museums are one of the symbols of Rome, where various works have been collected that span from ancient to contemporary times. Sarcophagi and mosaics share the space with masterpieces by great masters such as Giotto, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael up to Dalì, Canova, and Matisse. Amid so much beauty, the presence of a fragment of lunar rock donated to Vatican citizens by former U.S. president Nixon continues to amaze. The tour ends in the Sistine Chapel, where it is possible to admire the famous frescoes of the representation of the Last Judgment.

Rome - Colosseum and Roman Forum & Dinner in the Jewish Ghetto

Breakfast at the hotel and Transfer to Colosseum

Meet with the guide for a visit to the most significant archaeological area in the world, the Colosseum and Roman Forum. We will begin our tour from the Flavian Amphitheater, better known as the Colosseum; it is one of the most visited monuments ever, an icon of the Capitoline city. We continue to the Imperial Forums, a series of monuments and archaeological remains that were once the stage of political life. We will end the morning with a visit to Capital hill (Campidoglio), with its square.

    Dinner in the Jewish Ghetto
The Jewish ghetto of Rome is one of the most beautiful hidden treasures of the city, delimited by the Tiber river on one side and Venice Square on the other. Today it is famous for its food, especially its plethora of kosher restaurants serving traditional Roman dishes. An example of the restaurant is Giggetto al Portico D’Ottavia, one of the oldest and most historic Roman restaurants (1923), which takes pride of place right by the ancient Portico di Ottavia originally built by Emporer Augustus.

Transfer back to the hotel after dinner and overnight.
