    Welcome to Negombo

    On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality. The representative will offer the traditional Sri Lankan welcome – Ayubowan (May you be blessed with long life) - before boarding the vehicle and proceeding to the first resort in Negombo.

    On arrival at the resort, check-in and unwind at the pool.

    Visit the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

    After a leisurely breakfast, say goodbye to your lagoon hideaway as you proceed up North to Dambulla and check in at your Water Villa hotel.

    In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is a fortress complex of a ruined palace and one of the World Heritage sites declared by UNESCO. Undoubtedly the most treasured historical monument in Sri Lanka and probably the most visited tourist destination in Sri Lanka, the most looked forward feature of the fortress are the frescoes, mirror wall, and water garden of which some are functioning even today.

    Upon completion, return to the hotel and relax after a tiresome but enjoyable climb.

    Visit the ancient ruined in kingdom Polonnaruwa and game drive in the picturesque Kaudulla National Park

    After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, proceed towards Polonnaruwa to visit the ancient ruined kingdom. Polonnaruwa is the main town of Polonnaruwa District in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. It is the second largest city in this province. It is famous for its clean and beautiful environment, impressive ancient constructions, and most importantly, the vast lake 'Parakrama Samudra' built in 1200. The city has many untouched ancient archeological relic sites and remains one of the country's best-planned archaeological sites. UNESCO has declared The ancient city one of the World Heritage sites.

    After completing the visit, you will be driven back to Minneriya to engage in an evening game drive in the picturesque Kaudulla National Park. Kaudulla Park is situated in the north-central province of Sri Lanka, close to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. It is a national park of Sri Lanka opened 13 years back and is also one of the 15 national parks in the country. After a period of desertion, it was reconstructed as a national park, which eventually attracted and supported a variety of plant and animal life.

    Elephants roam the countryside on some days, and the chances of seeing elephants close up are excellent.

    Upon completion, return to your hotel at Dambulla to relax the rest of the evening.

    Explore the Temple of the Tooth Relic

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed towards Kandy, the capital city of the hill country.

    On arrival in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. This could be known as the most venerated religious shrine in the country, which is steeped in cultural heritage, attracting the highest respect of Buddhists and other religions worldwide. During the reign of King Sri Wickrama Rajasingha (1798 – 1815 A.D), the front section with the Pattirippuwa (Octagon) was built by Devendra Moolacarya, the Architect. The king was supposed to have addressed the people from this building. This building is a masterpiece of Kandyan Architecture. It is considered the symbol of the identity of Kandyan Architecture and was built in 1802 A.D. Out of his construction Magul Maduwa/audience hall, or the pavilion, held a prominent place.

    After the visit, hop in the vehicle and take a seat comfortably to witness the beauty of this world heritage site while your chauffeur drives you through the city.

    Kandy – Sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed further up the altimeter line towards Nuwara Eliya.

    Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and enjoy a drive through the city. Nuwara Eliya is a city in the hill country of the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The city is considered the most important location for tea cultivation and is well known for its cool climate, the coolest area in Sri Lanka. Many of the buildings have still preserved features from the colonial period. Many private homes have also maintained their old English-style lawns and gardens.

    After the visit, proceed directly towards your hotel and check in the late afternoon.

    Nuwara Eliya - Spend the day at leisure

    Yala - Enjoy a jeep ride at the Yala National Park

    After a hearty breakfast, say goodbye to your sanctuary in the tea country and proceed to Yala. As you move downhill, the lush green hills gradually turn into forest areas filled with unique flora and fauna.

    Late afternoon enjoy a jeep ride at the Yala National Park. Yala National Park is located between the Southern and Uva Provinces of Sri Lanka. It is the second largest park in the country and is also one of the earliest wild sanctuaries. Being home to 44 varieties of mammals and 215 bird species, its biggest draw card is the elusive leopard. Other species of eye-catching fauna include the sloth bear, elephant, crocodile, wild boar, and spotted dear.

    On arrival in Yala, check in at Kulu Safaris (Luxury Camping Site).
