- DAY 1
Kalimera to Greece!Upon arrival, your driver will be awaiting you at the airport with a sign with your name on it. Private transfer to your hotel.
Athens’ heyday was around 400 years BC; that’s when built most classical monuments. During the Byzantine and Turkish eras, the city decayed into just an insignificant little village, only to become the capital of newly-liberated Greece in 1833. Ahead of the 2004 Olympics, it transformed almost the entire infrastructure: the Metro, trams, new ring roads, and viaducts have eased the pressure of the heavy traffic.
Athens is still a rather messy and chaotic place—it wouldn’t be Athens otherwise—and despite all the improvements, it still retains a great deal of its oriental charm. The whole coastal stretch from Piraeus to the old Hellenikon airport has been improved with new plantings, viaducts, and paths for walking. The Plaka district is becoming more and more popular, and it is on the way to catching up with Psyrri, Gazi, and Rouf regarding restaurants. Discover the beauties of the Anafiotika district at the feet of the Acropolis, and visit the ancient village still housed amid the city. In Exarchia, there is still a somewhat in-your-face anarchic atmosphere around the Technical University. Meanwhile, Kolonaki is becoming chicer and chicer.View on map
- DAY 2
Athens - Acropolis & Treasure HuntGrasp the glory of the Greek civilization and feel the city's vibrancy during this amazing educational tour specially catered for families.
You will start your journey by heading towards the archeological site of the Acropolis. With your child-friendly state-licensed guide, the whole family will explore Athens’ most impressive sight with its glorious monuments while taking in the stories and myths of the past. The children will be intrigued by the story-telling. At the same time, the whole family will be able to see the stories come to life thanks to the specially designed iPad mini augmented reality capabilities. Your guide will provide each member with one such iPad at the site.
Become a local Athenian for a day; follow the myth of Athena, the goddess of war, wisdom, and crafts, solve the mystery, and receive her reward! In the company of our specialized (in child educational activities) “Insider” tour leader, you will discover secret corners of the city and engage in various experiential activities and games such as riddle-solving, clue-hunting, storytelling, and creative art & crafts. Join forces with your family members and solve the mystery like a true Athenian! While on the move, you will view fascinating landmarks, learn all about the history and culture of Greece, interact with locals, visit local shops, and savor Greek delicacies.View on map
- DAY 3
Costa Navarino - Peloponnese & Corinth CanalYou will start from Athens in the early morning, with your first stop being the famous Corinth Canal connecting the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. Though only completed in the late 19th century, it has been an idea of many and a dream dating over 2000 years! You will have enough time to admire the Canal from above and learn everything about its history.
On your way to Costa Navarino, stop at Tripoli to rest from the drive and enjoy a light lunch. Tripoli, the capital of Arcadia county, is not the city you go to because it’s so wonderful or because of all the sights. Tripoli doesn’t offer as many sights as most other cities in the Peloponnese. The finest spot in Tripoli is Filodendron Park. The park is beautifully designed, a peaceful green lung in an otherwise car-filled center. A few cafes and tavernas tempt you to stay for a long time. After lunch, continue your journey to Costa Navarino.View on map
- DAY 4
Costa Navarino - Hiking Polylimnio WaterfallsThe gorge of Polylimnio waterfalls is a paradise on earth and one of the hidden gems of the Peloponnese. Polylimnio means many lakes, and this is exactly what you discover. There are numerous freshwater lakes on many levels, with aqua blue waters created by spectacular waterfalls. Water flows from one lake to another, and the hiker can cross the gorge through a clear path, small bridges, and metal aiding handles.
We meet at the village of Haravgi, where our hike starts towards the gorge. We walk into a magical but real natural paradise, passing along lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Our hike will take up to two hours, and it is suitable for kids as there is no significant altitude difference. Swimming in the lakes would be an option. A swim in the lake and under the waterfall will be incredibly refreshing and the perfect reward. At the end of the hike, we can enjoy a healthy picnic with traditional local delicacies and relax by the lake. Here your guide and archery instructor will assemble your bow and set up the place for shooting. Your guide will advise you step by step on using your bow and arrows with precision and safety. In the end, we will celebrate your scores.View on map

- DAY 9
Santorini - Welcome to Magical IslandYour driver will deliver you to Athens Airport. A short flight and you will find yourselves on the magical island of Santorini! Upon arrival, your driver will be awaiting you with a sign with your name on it. You will be transferred to your hotel. The island's beauty has been waxed lyrical over the years, fully earning the epithet "kalliste" (the most beautiful). Along with "Strogili," this was one of the former names lent to the island over its troubled history.
Its history is one of the battles and conquers, of a tragic eruption and a blossoming renaissance – events that haven't altered Santorini's charm, but that undoubtedly scarred it.
Together with the inhabited Therania and five other smaller islands, Thera (Santorini's Greek name) belongs to the namesake archipelago, the vestige of a volcanic caldera. Places of unspoiled nature and postcard-like views, the islands are reachable by boat and bear the original appeal of the old-fashioned Santorini. The main island is split further into
picturesque villages masterly painted in dazzling blue and white hues, outlining the holiday resort's multi-faceted personality and its extraordinary variety of landscapes. The scent of wine grapes and vineyards stretching lazily down Santorini's unrefined hills; the unique taste of tomatoes grown solely on volcanic soil and the soaring temperature of the island; the subtle sand or the smoothness of white pebbles and turquoise waters of some of Europe's most suggestive beaches; the upbeat sound of the buzzing nightlife; the spectacle of the sun setting behind the village of Oia and the caldera to finally plunge into the skyline.
Santorini gratifies all 5 senses, treating the traveler to enchanting views and thousands of colors.View on map
- DAY 10
Santorini - You have two options to discover or tasteToday is another day we leave the choice to you!
Option A: Discover Santorini Archaeology and Culture
Unfold Santorini’s beauty and history as you embark on the Discover Santorini Tour. The archaeological sites, the volcanic beaches, and the tranquil villages are part of a tour that will take you from Ancient Santorini to the medieval era and then to the age of its ascendancy in the 18th century. This tour will help you relax, leave all else behind and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
Option B: Santorini Eat&Walk Food Tour
Our goal is to showcase the flavors and ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine from a local standpoint in a fun & informative manner to let you experience Greek food as the locals do! Our fun local food expert will meet you at a starting point in Firostefani and lead you through the traditional towns of Firostefani and Fira, following a pebbled downhill footpath right on the edge of the world-famous Santorini caldera. Start your day with a traditional Greek coffee. Follow your guide through the historical alleyways and hidden paths of Fira with several stops for samplings of local treats, including an olive oil tasting and a quick bite of souvlaki - the ultimate greek street food. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste Santorini & Greek food, street food, samples of local beer, wine and raki, Cycladic cheeses & cold cuts, olive oil tasting, delicacies from the bakery, and traditional sweets. Of course, lunch at a caldera view restaurant combined with some local wine is a 'must'!View on map
- DAY 11
Santorini - Caldera Sunset CruiseWithout mentioning dazzling panoramas, and the mesmerizing sea of vibrant villages, Santorini's culinary tradition would be something worth experiencing. Borrowing a pronounced Mediterranean diet from the mainland, Santorini shares a tendency to use vegetables, quality olive oil, meat, and fresh seafood generously, creating its cuisine by adding products that are cultivated solely on its fertile soil. Try the island's peculiar white eggplants with mozzarella, or sample the unique "Tomatokeftedes," tomato fritters made of Santorini's produce with a glass of Vinsanto. Santorini is in all aspects a work of art, and its souvenirs and local produce doubtlessly reflect the island's beautiful facets. Oia and, above all, Fira is the island's major shopping destination, places of unrivaled charm where traditional shops line up neatly down narrow streets.
In Santorini, a visit to one of the local art galleries is a must: evocative handicrafts, folk art, and jewelry can be bought at accessible prices, guaranteeing a souvenir that mirrors the authenticity of the villages. Another worthy shopping experience is all about local produce. The diversity of products makes it hard to choose from the numerous delicacies grown on the island's volcanic soil. Fava, the Greek version of split peas, is particularly unique in Santorini, and it is used to make a down-to-earth yet scrumptious puree. The island's grapes make a heavenly wine exported worldwide and can be bought in any local wineries. Last comes Santorini's trademark tomato, the locals' pride and a must-try for food lovers - wonderfully flavorful and juicy.
Starting from the port of Vlychada port, the cruise passes by Red and White Beach, with a stop at Black Mountain. It will then give by the Lighthouse South of the Caldera and the Hot Springs at the Volcano. The next stop is in Thirassia, where lunch will be served. You will then sail towards the port of Ammoudi for a spectacular view of Oia. The return route will offer beautiful Fira views and sunset views before entering the port of Vlychada.View on map
