The next day, you will wake up early, meet up with your family-friendly, archaeologist guide, and set on a Mythology Tour of the Acropolis & Acropolis Museum. Learn all about the history, as well as the myths and legends that surround the sacred rock, and watch your kids get mesmerized by the engaging storytelling. After admiring the Acropolis monuments, walk to the modern Acropolis Museum to further explore the ancient civilization through the exhibits the excavations of the Acropolis brought to light.
Our recommendation; you can also join an afternoon excursion to Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon that includes a stop for swimming or a visit to the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center depending on the season of your visit. Drive across the sun-soaked Athens Riviera before reaching the imposing Cape Sounio, where the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon lie.
From there, you will have the chance to experience one of the magical sunsets of your life before heading back to the center of Athens to relax and prepare for the day ahead.
